PepsiCo has taken proactive steps to support employees and their families in dealing with stress inside and outside the workplace. PepsiCo Middle East has worked with ICAS MENA as a global wellbeing partner for many years to support our employees and their families in personal and professional matters. We know that if our employees are struggling with a personal matter, their work performance will be impacted. Our employees and their families have benefitted hugely by leveraging telephonic and face-to-face counselling. ICAS has also supported us in bringing experts such as financial advisors, psychologists and nutritionists to educate our team on topics ranging from managing employees’ worries, investment, wills, and much more. The confidential Employee Assistance Programme has helped our employees manage their personal wellbeing.
Congratulations! The session you conducted on Employee Engagement was a big HIT. A big thank you from our HR team. Excellent explanations on the relationship between Manager & Employee, categories of employees, self-reflection for Managers to access themselves, how to manage and motivate employees, problems that exist in engaging employees, and solutions to fix them. All very well presented. WELL DONE!! We would also like to thank you for arranging the Mental Health Awareness Sessions. We attended all of them and walked away with good tips from the series.
I started my first job with Shell. I was away from home and got socially isolated which led to mild depression. Later I got married, which added to an already stressful life. Then I suffered through a personal loss. This is when I started talking with my EAP counsellor, and by this time had consulted several psychiatrists. I feel truly blessed to have found a counselor who always gave sincere, practical advice which was focused on leading a balanced life, and becoming self-sufficient.
I am writing this email to let you know that today I finished my last session with [my ICAS counsellor] and I want to extend my deepest gratitude and thanks to her for all the support and professionalism she showed during our sessions. I was initially hesitant to seek assistance and from the overall idea of communicating with a therapist but over time she was able to break these fake boundaries and establish trust between us. She assisted me to understand myself more in some aspects and to translate my emotions to the right actions. She was extremely calm, professional efficient, and flexible in the session timings during the course of our sessions which exactly what any institute needs in their employees. I hope that she gets the credit she earned fair and square by doing her job perfectly. pI am not the kind of person who is easily impressed or satisfied by a service but what I have seen during our sessions put me on the doorstep of finally understanding who am I and what I want so again please accept my very big thank you for the overall institution of ICAS in general and especially to [my counsellor] for all of her efforts, hard work and professionalism.
Thanks for another insightful session, as usual! My previous experience with ICAS … was really comforting. I commend my telephone clinician’s work, patience and keenness to genuinely support. The work ICAS team continues to extend us is truly remarkable and I personally encouraged many leaders in my staff to reach out to ICAS directly and seek support. The best part is, that they did!
